Greetings. I see that the NBS Skiers Edges newsletter is out and my article, My Fantasy Ski Trip “Down Under,” is in it. The article is about my ski trip to New Zealand this summer and my side trip to the Fiji Island.

Had to cut the yard this evening. Not because the grass was high. But because I have patches of wild onion growing that had grown to high. Since I have put down new grass seeds a couple months ago, can't put down weed and feed because it will kill the new grass. For now, now have to live with the wild onion until my grass seeds have produced grass.

My God daughter, Tianna Fleming

Here a photo of my God daughter, Tianna Fleming. She is the grand daughter of Mike Fleming, my best friend from high school. She is current in the 7th grade and is going to a charter School in OKC, OK that is a pre school for college bound students. She is an excellent student and I am very proud of her.

Beware of a contractor name Allen Holcomb

Here is a photo take of my sister home in OKC, OK. This photo was taken on 31 March. She is in a battle with a General Contractor name Allen Holcome who has not finish her home, He has been working on it off and on for a full year. During here last conversation with him, he told her that he was not going to finish the work and that she can try and sue him if she want. While my sister was in the hosp, her daughter got Channel 4, a local TV station. They contacted her on 30 March and came out to interview her on 31 March to hear he side of the story. After the interview, Channel 4 contacted the contractor to hear is side of the story. Now all of a certain, Allen was to do the right thing and finish the work and ask that she not appear on TV. Folks tend to act a little differently when you start to mess with the ability to earn a living. Also, late on 31 March, channel 9 interview her, so hopefully Allen has gotten the word, that he has mess with the wrong sister. Bottom line, all we want is for Allen to honor his contract and finish remodeling my sister house per the contractual agreement.

Kappa Alpha Psi Tag Holder

LOL. Have new Kappa tags holders but no tags. Went to pick pay sales tax and license tag fee. My insurance sent me a notarize memo stating that my truck was total out and what the fair market value of the truck was. With the memo, all I would pay the difference between what I paid for the new car and the fair market price for my truck. Needless to say, the memo would same me dollar or two. However, I found out that the memo was no good since it did not list the Vehicle Identification number and the make and model of my truck. Now I have to wait until I receive the second memo from the insurance company.

Chevy HHR IPod set Up

I love my Chevy HHR and it is IPod compatible. Which simply means that is has an audio plug which allows you to hook up your IPod or CD player directly to the sound system. But what I don't like about my HHR is that the only place that I can place my IPod cup holder is right in the middle of the seats which make it kind of hear to see and change the IPod player. If you have found a better place for your IPod, please leave me a note.

And yet another photo of car in drive way. LOL. Seems like I am showing pictures of my first born. Actually, this is my fist brand new car. In the pass, I have only purschase demo and low mileage use car. For example, my uncle die a couple years ago, and my aunt sold me my truck for a very reasonable price and it has less that 20,000 miles on it. Anyway, I am very please with my Chevrolet HHR. Especially since I use a relative of mind GMC certificate to purchase the car, which save me a couple thousands dollars. Also, I love my car since it is IPod compatable:) For more information on HHR, check out

Here is a photo of my home with new car in drive way. Have work cut out for me this spring regarding my yard. Have wild onion growing and need to find time soon to dig them out. Don't want to use weed killer since I have put out new seeds a couple months ago.

Charter Members - Korea Kappa Alpha Psi Alumni Chapter

This Photo was taken back in 1980 or 81 in Seoul Korea. The photo is a picture of some of the original Chapter Charter Members of the Korea Alumni Association of Kappa Alpha Psi. I am standing on third from the right hand side. Next to me is Brother Joe Cochran and Sidney Ricks is kneeling at the front on the left hand side. Also, Brother Harris is kneeling on the front row, second from the front, on the right hand side. If you recognize any of the other brothers, please add their names as a comment, to include where they are located in the photo.

Fw: "White" Fraternity Stepping

As a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, I use to step a little back in the early 70s. However, after reading their introduction I have no problem with White Fraternity stepping. As long as they respect the traditions and don't pull a Bo Derrick on us. Actually, they were not all that bad. Hell, for the most part, they are all in step:)

Some may have a problem with this video. However, before going ballistic, just remember where the fraternity originated. Stepping may be a Black thing, however, the fraternal concept is a white thing and don't forget that.

Welcome to my place on the Net. Plan to post daily thoughts , or when ever I come up with a thought to post. But first, need to learn how to become a Blogger.

Oh, by the way, I'm planning to take a train ride to New Orleans for a Cruise. The train leaves from Centralia IL, 12:25 am, 7 June. Will arrive New Orleans same day about 3:25pm. The cruise dates are 9-13 June. Have reservation at the Hyatt hotel, down town on 7 June.

Plan to send out daily blogs. So this should be interesting. OK. That is it for now. Plan to check back later and see how I am doing.
